The event aimed to inspire students to become entrepreneurs by identifying real-world problems and creating meaningful solutions. It introduced students to the university’s incubation ecosystem and entrepreneurial support. CICF highlighted its support through incubation and mentorship, currently supporting two incubated startups and six pre-incubated ventures.
Speakers emphasized that entrepreneurship is a mindset based on problem-solving, innovation, execution, and resilience. Students were encouraged to experiment with ideas, use institutional resources, learn from failures, and become job creators. Examples such as Mohamed Dijon’s entrepreneurial journey and IIM Bangalore’s zero-waste campus demonstrated how simple observations can lead to practical innovations.
The sessions also highlighted NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore, and its support through mentorship, incubation, networking, validation, and funding opportunities, including initiatives for women entrepreneurs.
Overall, students gained valuable insights into entrepreneurship and were motivated to identify challenges, develop impactful solutions, and pursue entrepreneurial ventures.
