The Gender Champions Club works towards promoting gender equality, equity, and inclusivity among students through diverse academic, interactive, creative, and community-oriented initiatives. The Club creates awareness about gender-based issues, challenges social stereotypes and biases, and encourages students to critically understand gender concerns from social, economic, and constitutional perspectives. Through discussions, Q&A sessions, guest lectures, and collaborative activities, students are provided with opportunities to engage with and reflect on issues of gender equity and social justice. Extension programmes further encourage students to carry these values beyond the classroom and contribute to a more inclusive society. Creative initiatives such as movie screenings use storytelling to foster empathy and promote reflection on gender discrimination and workplace equality. The Club also connects gender equity with constitutional rights, dignity, and equal opportunities. Overall, its activities aim to develop awareness, critical thinking, empathy, and active participation towards building a more informed, inclusive, and gender-equitable community.
