  • International Conference on Climate Justice

The International Conference on Climate Justice 2026 turned climate change from a distant global concern into a shared conversation about the future we are actively shaping. Bringing together ideas from technology, science, governance, and society, the conference explored how carbon intelligence, AI, and data can support meaningful climate action while keeping questions of equity and responsibility at the centre. It became a space where disciplines met, perspectives intersected, and complex challenges were approached through collaboration rather than a single lens. For students, the experience extended learning beyond textbooks—showing how knowledge, when shared across communities, can become a starting point for change.

  • Indo-Korea International Conference 2025

The Indo-Korea International Conference 2025 brought together diverse perspectives to explore the evolving relationship between Artificial Intelligence and society. With a focus on governance, ethics, sustainability, education, culture, health, creativity, and social responsibility, the conference encouraged participants to look at AI beyond its technological dimensions. It created a dynamic space for academic exchange, institutional collaboration, and critical conversations between India and Korea. Through plenary sessions, panel discussions, roundtables, presentations, films, and posters, participants engaged with emerging possibilities and challenges surrounding AI. The conference reflected the Liberal Arts approach of connecting technology with people, society, culture, and responsible futures.

  • Research Capacity Development Programme on Migration

The Research Capacity Development Programme on Migration created a focused space for exploring migration through data, narratives, and lived experiences. Designed around the theme “Linking Data, Narratives and Policy: The Life Course,” the programme encouraged participants to look beyond migration statistics and understand the human stories behind movement and displacement. Through immersive learning, expert instruction, and networking opportunities, participants were introduced to ways of connecting research evidence with broader social and policy contexts. The programme reflects the Liberal Arts approach of combining interdisciplinary knowledge with practical inquiry, enabling participants to engage critically with migration and contribute to more nuanced conversations about its causes, experiences, and implications.

  • International Conference on French Colonial Presence in India: Cultural Imprint and Decoloniality

The International Conference on French Colonial Presence in India: Cultural Imprint and Decoloniality brings together historical, cultural, and contemporary perspectives to examine the enduring influence of French colonialism in India. The conference creates a space to explore how colonial encounters shaped architecture, culture, knowledge, identity, and social memory, while also questioning how these legacies are understood today. By bringing together interdisciplinary perspectives, it encourages critical conversations around colonial histories and the possibilities of decolonial thinking. The initiative reflects the Liberal Arts commitment to connecting history with contemporary questions, encouraging dialogue, critical inquiry, and a deeper understanding of India’s diverse cultural landscapes.

  • Impact of Climate-Induced Forced Displacement on Women

The Winter Workshop on the Impact of Climate-Induced Forced Displacement on Women in the Global South created a space to examine how climate change intersects with gender, displacement, vulnerability, and social inequality. The workshop encouraged participants to look beyond climate events themselves and understand the unequal experiences that emerge when communities are displaced. Through discussions and interdisciplinary perspectives, it connected environmental challenges with questions of dignity, safety, livelihood, and resilience. The initiative reflects the Liberal Arts approach of engaging with complex social realities through multiple lenses, encouraging participants to develop greater awareness, empathy, and sensitivity towards the experiences of communities affected by climate-induced displacement.
