The Mechanical and Automobile Engineering Department of CHRIST(Deemed to be University) is well equipped to meet the present day technological advances and industrial requirements matching global standards. The department has state-of-the-art laboratories to enhance practical knowledge and experience real world applications of the industry.
Our Department has grown drastically in terms of infrastructure, teaching methodologies and research facilities. The faculty members are a perfect blend of professionals with strong industry and research experience. Students have the privilege of getting involved in faculty research projects and being recognized at a National and International level. Modern training facilities are developed in collaboration with reputed industries. The latest versions of Industry demand software programmes like Ansys, Catia, Creo, Solid Works, Matlab, and STAR-CCM+ are taught either as a part of the curriculum or as value-added courses. Special training is imparted in core areas like- Tear Down of vehicles, Industry 4.0, Robotics, 3-D printing, CNC and also in inter-disciplinary and upcoming areas like Data Analytics, IoT and E-mobility. Eligible students have a golden opportunity to engage with industries for their projects during their final year. They are also encouraged to take part in co-curricular and extracurricular activities organized at different levels to produce more versatile, well-rounded graduates.

Welcome to the Department of Mechanical and Automobile Engineering. Since its inception in the year 2010, the department has now completed a decade. During these 10 years, there has been a steadfast growth, strongly leaning towards the motto; Excellence and Service.
