Started in 1993, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) presents a comprehensive two-year postgraduate program in Physics, offering specialised tracks in Materials Science, Energy Science, and Astrophysics. This program is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the subject, complemented by tutorials, brainstorming sessions, and problem-solving initiatives for theoretical and practical courses.The two-year Master's program encompasses 16 theory papers, seven laboratory
modules,foundation courses, and guided dissertations spanning four semesters. Emphasising a well-rounded education, foundation courses and seminars are integrated to foster holistic development, enabling students to navigate the world beyond academia confidently. To enrich the learning experience, the program incorporates visits to esteemed national laboratories, research institutions, and industries, all under the careful guidance and supervision of the department.
CHRIST (DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY) offers a BSc degree in Physics, with combination in Mathematics. It fosters a deep understanding of physics's vital role in daily life, nature, and societal advancement. Students gain a solid foundation in core science concepts, practical skills,
and technology integration, preparing them for careers in physics and allied industries. The curriculum encourages interdisciplinary training, teamwork, and hands-on learning, providing a strong foundation for success in the ever-evolving field of physics.
