The Service-Learning Cell of the department follows the sustainable learning strategy, integrating meaningful community service with instruction and reflection to enrich the learning experience, where both the students and the community are benefitted. As part of the cell students work in collaboration with various non-governmental, educational and rehabilitation institutes and carry out various projects under the supervision and guidance of the faculty. The activities familiarise students with community related issues, and provides familiarity in the working of community systems, acts as a platform to develop skills to relate with and serve the local community; exposes and provides a chance to develop and administer various community- based intervention programs.
