The main philosophy behind the imparting of knowledge with a bent towards Historical and Political Science is firmly entrenched in application based learning and blending aspects of different disciplines together. Keeping this in mind, several workshops, exhibitions and awareness camps were organised on Gendered Identities, Ancient gaming and Election processes. These also included Constituent Assembly Debates, Communal Riots and the question of Caste and its identity. A special series of lectures was organised for this purpose, and the speaker for this was Dr. Sajjan Kumar, PhD, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Centre for Political Studies. He regularly writes articles for The New Indian Express and The Hindu. Presently, he is specialized in working as an associate with People’s Pulse, an organisation which does extensive studies in the field of elections.
