The Entrepreneurship Cell at the campus is an initiative to instil entrepreneurial qualities such as leadership, Creative problem-solving, Innovation, decision-making, and strategic thinking. The membership to the cell is highly competitive and Ecell organise a wide range of activities such as Speaker Series, workshops, guest lectures, startup expos, panel discussions, and business plan competitions. These events provide students to the practical aspects of starting and running a venture, giving them valuable insights from experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts. The Speakers ‘conclave, BID and BUILD event- BoB the Builder, Startup Surge, The campus Market Place -Mercaton, The Intercollegiate B-plan Event CoCoon marks our calendar every year apart from regular workshops and expert talks.
E-Cells also offer pre-incubation support through the incubation cell thereby helping students develop prototypes, conduct feasibility studies, and prepare business models. These initiatives significantly boost the confidence of aspiring entrepreneurs and increase the likelihood of their ventures becoming viable.
The Incubation Cell at the Bannerghatta campus is established with a vision to nurture entrepreneurial mindsets among students and faculty. At its core the cell is dedicated to support roblem solving initiatives which can pave the way for the development of startups through structured guidance, access to infrastructure, networking, and seed funding opportunities.
The Cell offers a range of facilities designed to support student-led startups and foster innovation. These include dedicated co-working spaces, high-speed internet connectivity, and essential communication tools, fully furnished conference rooms and meeting spaces to facilitate collaboration and presentations. Startups benefit from expert advisory services in legal, financial, and intellectual property (IP) matters, along with access to extensive library and research resources. In addition, faculty mentors and technical experts are available to guide and support entrepreneurs throughout their journey. To strengthen its ecosystem, the Incubation Cell works closely with various academic departments, research centers, and external industry partners, creating a dynamic and collaborative environment that nurtures growth and innovation.
