About the Mission

At CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bannerghatta Road Campus, the Digital Skills Mission is a transformative initiative designed to empower students with cutting-edge digital competencies, aligning with the university’s vision of human development and mission to deliver innovative, high-quality technology solutions for social good. Rooted in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), this mission integrates digital literacy, advanced technical skills, and industry-relevant training into the academic framework. By fostering a dynamic, inclusive, and research-driven environment, the mission equips students to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital economy while contributing to sustainable societal development. .

Campus Ecosystem

The Bannerghatta Road Campus, established in 2016, is a hub for interdisciplinary learning, offering programs in Humanities, Social Sciences, Business, and Tourism Management. With state-of-the-art facilities, including a digitized library, computer labs, and a robust IT infrastructure, the campus provides an ideal ecosystem for the Digital Skills Mission. Through partnerships with industry leaders, hands-on projects, and a commitment to sustainability, the initiative prepares students to become ethical, innovative leaders who can address global challenges and enhance employability in the digital age.
